MOREHOUSE - Mrs. Velma Lucille BUCKLEY, died at her home here Thursday. She had been a resident of this city since 1942.
She was born Nov. 17, 1919 in Savannah, Tenn., daughter of the late John S. and Susie BOSWELL and spent her childhood there. June 17,1934 she married Leander Buckley, who survives.
Other survivors are a son, Charlie BUCKLEY, with the Armed Forces at Ft. Knox, Ky., two daughters, Mrs. Emily THRASHER of Morehouse and Miss Bettie Sue BUDKLEY, at home and one grand child.
The body is to be removed from Watkins and Sons Funeral Home to the Family home today to lie in state until time for services. Services will be conducted in the Morehouse Assembly of God Church at 2:00 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. George HILL, of Essex, officiationg and interment will be in the Hagy Cemetery with Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in charge of all arrangements.
