Ruby J. Thomann, 64, of 14264 James St., Holland, MI., died Saturday,
Nov. 7, 1987 in Holland Community Hospital, Holland, MI. after an extended
illness.
Mrs. Thomann was born in Parma Mo. but moved to the Holland
area in 1941. She formerly worked for Dutch Boy Bakery. She was a member of
the Church of God. She was preceded in death by her parents William and Emma
Matthews from Parma, Missouri and a son, Randel, in 1941.
Surviving are
her husband, Raymond a son, Daniel of Holland three daughters, Mrs. Gene
(Melba) Schrotenboer, Mrs. Gerald (Bonnie) Skaggs and Mrs. Robert (Peggy)
Van Eyk, all of Holland 10 grandchildren three step-grandchildren one great
grandchild her mother-in-law Mrs. Oma Tippett of Holland two sisters-in-law
Mrs. Jess (Avis) Matthews and Mrs. Clifford (Clarene) Matthews, both of
Missouri and nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be held at 1
p.m. Tuesday at Dykstra Northwood Chapel, 295 Douglas Ave., with Pastor R.D.
McKinney o!fficiating.
Burial will be in Pearl Cemetery. Visitation is 7
to 9 this evening at the Northwood Chapel.
