Morehouse - Mrs. Myrtie Florence TYSON, 71 died Tuesday at her home in Morehouse. She was a daughter of the late Samuel and Alice COMPTON TAYLOR, and was born at Dresden, Tenn. on Aug. 23, 1892.
She was a member of the Oneness Pentecost Church and was married to Roy McWHORTER in 1912. Three children were born to this union, one son, Ancil "Mac" McWHORTER of New Hall, Calif., who survives. In 1925 she married to Alfred Joseph TYSON, who died in 1948. Two daughters survive from this union, Mrs. John (Lorene) BURNS BREEDEN, both of Morehouse; one brother, Tom TAYLOR of Morehouse; one stepson. Clyde TYSON of Hollywood, Calif., 15 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
The body is at the Watkins and Son Funeral Home with Funeral arrangements still incomplete.
