LEGRAND CEMETERY - originally located on farm of Edward LeGrand, later known as Bandy farm, last located on Swift and Co. property at Portageville, MO
Compiled from New Madrid County Court Case No. N-637 July, 1970. Identificaton supplied from family information. According to the court case, all of the deceased listed, along with several unmarked graves, were moved to one common grave at the Portageville Cemetery. It is marked with a large stone that lists only the surnames: "LEGRAND-HOWARD-LESIEUR"
The original stones remained at Swift and Co. for several years and have since been lost.
