Surnames NEILL - GULLION Marriage Look up 1850-60
Comments:
Jeremiah Gullion, b. 1834, KY, son of William Gullion is in
1860 census with wife, Tabitha, b. 1840, with two young daughters, Mary
I(sabelle) Gullion, born 1858, MO, and Susan Frances Gullion, born 1680, MO.
Please, anyone with access to New Madrid CO MO marriage records between
1850-60, I would greatly appreciate a lookup for the marriage of Jeremiah
Gullion and Tabitha ?. I've been looking for this record for 20 years and
Tabitha's last name. Maybe the marriage record is among some loose papers in
the courthouse? Tabitha had died by 1870 as Jeremiah Gullion remarried in
1869 to Sarah J. Ousley in Mississippi County.
Thank you.

Comments:
1880 census for New
Madrid, has Edward and William CREELY with William's wife, Mary living in
New Madrid. They were "butchers."
William F. CREELY is my g g
grandfather and he came with his brother from St. Louis to New Madrid in the
late 1870's.
We know that William died sometime after 1880 but before
1890. He is not listed in any St. Louis death records....I think he my have
died while in New Madrid...between 1880 and 1889...because, his wife
remarried in 1889/1890.
They may have had two sons, Oliver and
Charles CREELY while living in New Madrid.....born first couple years after
1880.....because they are not listed in any census for 1880.
I am
hoping that maybe someone has some local cemetery records for WILLIAM
CREELY....maybe some death dates....it would be great to fill in this
missing piece to our family puzzle.
Thanks so much,
Jim Keith
