My grandmother, Hattie Mae Simmons, Tiggs had a baby With a Willie Wright or Willie Powell, who was born in 1865 and died 1932. Willie's parents were Thomas Powell and Rhoda Sara or Sallie Wright. Willie went by powell and Wright. I don't know if his parents were married or not. Hattie mae simmos Tiggs had my father"Tommy simmons Powell" With Willie Wright Powell. Do You have andy information About the Powell, Wright, or Simmons Tiggs Family. Hattie mae was African American, Willie was Biracial-White, Indiand, and black. So I don't know what he was considered. His parents where also of mix race, so its kind of confusing. My father is considered black, even though his father is of mix race. But if you have any information please e-mail me with it
